A Texas A&M electrical engineer, Ted Boriack is a Texas professional engineer, holds an MBA and has thirty years of energy industry experience. Ted spent his early career as an electrical engineer in the electric utility industry working in system design and construction, and operations and maintenance. Transitioning to the refining industry, Ted held various posts in the areas of electrical engineering, project management, utility system reliability, strategic planning, power contract management and cogeneration. In 2000 Ted co-founded Integral Power, LLC where he now serves as Managing Director.

Professional Positions
Integral Power – Managing Director. A Co-Founder and Managing Director of Integral Power, Ted is involved in all aspects of developing and managing industrial-based combined heat and power projects. Activities include project feasibility, optimization of project configurations, economic modeling and budgeting, engineering and construction, accounting and audit administration, contract administration and management of day-to-day operations. Through IP Ted serves as a Managing Partner of Port Arthur Steam Energy LP, a 45MW (equivalent) waste heat-to-power facility in Port Arthur, Texas that was developed by Integral Power and achieved commercial operation in 2005.

CITGO Refining & Chemicals, LP – Project Manager & Energy Contracts Administrator. Directly responsible for all electrical engineering aspects of 165,000 barrel per day refinery. Duties included refinery electrical system plan, project development and feasibility studies, technical scope development, budget proposals, detail engineering, construction, testing and commissioning of new systems.

Colwell & Associates Consulting Engineers – Electrical Project Engineer. Involved in various electrical projects for industrial plants in the Corpus Christi, TX area. Duties included project engineering, feasibility studies, technical scope, cost development and detail design.

Central Power & Light Company – Electrical Engineer. Various positions including Standards Engineer, Operations Engineer and Distribution Engineer.
